The Cadet GeoStories app brings the rich and interesting history of America to people everywhere by linking where they are to local historical events. We combine location data with images from our extensive library of historical records and tailored narratives from local writers to bring local history to life through your phone.
Through our contacts with local travel and experience partners, we can also help deliver meaningful encounters with the history of the ground you're walking on.
WHAT IS A GEOSTORY
History is all around us. Events shape our world in ways that echo long beyond when they happened. In the United States, our history is everywhere. Our mission at Cadet Publishing is to help people connect with that history. We do this by bringing GeoStories to you through our Cadet GeoStories App.
A GeoStory is a set of historical images selected to match your location and combined with a narrative description of what happened there, when, and why. To complete your GeoStory, we also offer an opportunity to connect with local experience providers to visit historical sites through local experts or guides.
